Job summary

Target is seeking a Facility Attendant 1 to support maintenance teams in a fast-paced Distribution Center in Florida. You will perform a wide range of upkeep tasks, assist with electrical and mechanical maintenance, and help ensure safe, clean facilities.

The role requires hands-on skills with power tools, carpentry, and routine maintenance. A valid driver’s license and ability to read instructions are essential, with on-site responsibilities throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and follow labels, tickets, and instructions.
• Capable of operating maintenance tools with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution center environment.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance technicians with preventative and corrective tasks.
• Operate hand and power tools and assist in carpentry, painting, and minor repairs.
• Change PIT batteries and maintain battery records; assist with safety procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, complete paperwork, and update work orders daily.
• Assist in pest control, HVAC, and other preventive maintenance programs.
