Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain and repair diverse facilities, ensuring safe and reliable operations across multiple locations. You will collaborate with fellow technicians, perform preventive maintenance, and manage tools and company assets while participating in ongoing U-Haul education.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
• Valid driver’s license.
• D.O.T certification (can be sponsored by U-Haul)
• Must be 18 or older

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
• Effectively work with a variety of hand/power tools.
• Pool knowledge with other Facility Maintenance Technicians to accomplish complex projects.
• Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep track of company truck and gas card.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
