Job summary
U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will collaborate with fellow technicians to maintain and build facilities, perform general maintenance, installation and repairs across multiple sites.
The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safe handling of tools, and active participation in ongoing U-Haul education programs. Training and advancement opportunities are available within a supportive environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in electrical, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
- Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
- Effectively work with a variety of hand/power tools.
- Pool knowledge with other Facility Maintenance Technicians to accomplish complex projects.
- Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Keep track of company truck and gas card.
- Participate in ongoing continuous U‑Haul education through U‑Haul University.
