Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate.
• Experience: Three years of building maintenance or related field experience.
• Substitution rules allow training/experience in related fields to substitute for education/experience.
• On-call 24 hours a day and exposure to extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Identifies maintenance needs or repairs and performs basic repairs of plumbing, electrical, and other maintenance issues.
• Prioritizes and verifies completions of work orders.
• Requisitions maintenance tools and supplies as needed.
• Supervises and assists offenders in daily maintenance and repair tasks while maintaining a safe and secure working environment.
• Tracks assignment of tools and parts.
