Evergreen Real Estate Services seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at a multi-property site in Hammond, IN. You will oversee all facility maintenance, safety compliance, vendor coordination, and budget adherence, balancing hands-on work with strategic leadership to keep properties in top condition.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in maintenance with 3+ in leadership, and a High School diploma or GED, plus relevant trade certs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; trade certs preferred.
CAMT certification preferred; trade HVAC/electrical/plumbing certs valued.
Minimum 5 years in maintenance; 3+ years in leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, ensuring timely and high-quality resolution of work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, and unit turns.
Oversee the inspection and maintenance of property systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical infrastructure.
Monitor maintenance staff workloads and prioritize tasks to align with property needs and regulatory deadlines.
Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance and janitorial staff in coordination with the Property Manager.
Coordinate and monitor contractor performance to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and up to Evergreen standards.
Create and manage property-specific preventive maintenance plans, including schedule adherence and documentation.
