Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor in Mossville, IL. The role leads a team of multi‑skilled technicians, manages safety, compliance, and maintenance activities for a fast‑paced industrial facility and large offices.

This position reports to the Facility Maintenance Manager and requires strong leadership and client coordination. The ideal candidate has extensive industrial maintenance experience, is able to instruct safety training, and can supervise daily operations,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• No sponsorship for US work authorization.
• Ten years of progressive industrial facility maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Must climb aerial lifts or scissor lifts up to 30 feet or higher.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to obtain a security access badge at client location.
• Able to work various shifts, weekends, overtime as required.
• Pass pre-employment substance abuse test.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership ensuring an accident‑free workplace and 100% site compliance; coordinate with EHS.
• Oversee day‑to‑day maintenance teams and subcontractors, ensuring timely, cost‑effective work.
• Staffing, development, evaluations, and performance reviews; manage workload to meet client requirements.
