Full-time, onsite role with potential overtime. You will lead maintenance activities, coordinate a team, manage parts inventory, and ensure safety and efficiency across the facility.

Job description

Express Employment is seeking a seasoned Facility Maintenance Technician for a supervisor position with our local Caldwell client. Do you have over 3 years of facility maintenance experience? This may be a good opportunity for you!

Pay: $38.00 - $55.00/hour

Depending on experience level

Schedule: Monday thru Friday 7am to 4pm

Expected overtime 10+ hours a week!

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and schedule all preventative and corrective maintenance activities
• Manage the maintenance team and coordinate workflow
• Maintain and manage inventory in the tool crib
• Troubleshoot and resolve machinery issues
• Collaborate closely with Production and Safety to ensure a safe and efficient facility
• Recommend parts, coordinate vendor repairs, and support technical solutions

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility
• Experience with industrial equipment and electrical maintenance
• Mechanically inclined with working knowledge of: o Stationary Saws o Basic power/hand tools o Pneumatic tools o Hoists o Small engine repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot, perform minor repairs, and coordinate major repairs
• OSHA 10 (or ability to obtain)

Preferred Qualifications

• Supervisory experience leading maintenance staff
• Basic PLC troubleshooting or electrical diagnostics
• Welding or light fabrication experience
• Experience with facility maintenance or HVAC helpful but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work performed in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise

Work Schedule

• Full-time, onsite
• Typically, 50+ hours per week depending on production needs
• Occasional nights or weekends may be required
