Job summary

DSV is seeking a Facility Assistant/Janitor with MHE familiarity to maintain a clean and orderly building. The role involves light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC tasks and operation of power tools under general supervision.

As part of the DSV team, you will follow safety, quality and performance standards, supporting office and warehouse areas. Prior forklift training or certification within 30 days is preferred; high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Able to operate MHE or become certified within 30 days of hire.
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.

Responsibilities

• Maintain offices, cubical, conference rooms, restrooms, and other office spaces.
• Prepare conference rooms with coffee, drinks, or food as required.
• Maintain storage areas neat and clean.
• Maintain cleanliness of exterior grounds including bay areas and lobby entrances.
• Monitor floors daily to ensure cleanliness and safety; post hazard information as needed.
• Empty trash receptacles daily in warehouse and office areas.
