Job summary

DSV - Global transport and logistics is seeking a Facility Assistant/Janitor to support building upkeep at our Pass Christian site. The role covers cleaning, room setup, inventory, and safe operation of power tools and equipment as part of general facility maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Able to operate MHE or become certified within 30 days of hire.
• Satisfactory completion of forklift training program

Responsibilities

• Maintain offices, cubicles, conference rooms, restrooms and other office spaces.
• Keep storage areas neat and clean; maintain exterior grounds as needed.
• Ensure floors are clean daily and hazard-free; empty trash daily.
• Monitor and report lighting outages; operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely.
• Perform daily pre-operating inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
