Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Facility Assistant, Janitor to maintain a clean, orderly building and support daily operations at our Pooler facility. You will manage offices, conference rooms, and storage areas while complying with site policies and safety requirements.

The role requires six months in a similar position, a high school diploma or GED, and ability to work in warehouse temperatures. Forklift training is a plus and basic computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a similar role.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse, ranging from mild to moderate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain offices, cubicles, conference rooms, restrooms, and other office spaces in a clean, orderly fashion.
• Prepare conference rooms with coffee, drinks, and food when required.
• Maintain storage areas and exterior grounds in neat condition.
• Empty trash receptacles in the warehouse daily.
• Maintain floors daily to ensure cleanliness and address hazards.
• Arrange materials in a neat and orderly fashion.
