Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support general building operations in our Idaho facilities. The role involves light custodial work, minor repairs, and moving duties to keep spaces safe and functional.

Responsibilities include maintaining lighting, grounds, and conference rooms, with attention to safety, OSHA guidelines, and company directives. You will coordinate with teams for office moves and respond swiftly to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries from clients, co-workers, and supervisor.
• Understanding of basic financial figures and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Performs non-technical general building maintenance and light custodial duties under supervision.
• Maintains lighting systems, cleans fixtures, and replaces bulbs and lamps.
• Maintains grounds by raking, sweeping, lawn care, and snow removal as needed.
• Patrols grounds, common areas and parking facilities; reports hazards.
• Performs housekeeping to keep property and spaces presentable.
• Patches drywall and performs minor repairs under supervision.
• Assists with office moves, moving crates, assembling furniture, and managing keys.
• Responds quickly to emergency situations and calls for needed assistance.
• Prepares meetings and conference rooms, arranging tables, chairs, and equipment.
