Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the scheduling of maintenance items, inventory management, and supervision of contract labor and maintenance staff.

The role includes project management and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at our Fallon site. Ideal candidates will have leadership experience, extensive plant maintenance background in relevant areas, strong inventory and purchasing acumen, and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years of leadership experience.
• 3 years plant maintenance experience in one of the following areas preferred: preventative maintenance, installations, welding, electrical, pipefitting, heavy equipment mechanics, hydraulics, I&E and/or planning.
• Inventory and purchase ordering experience.
• Familiar with compliance and regulations.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including movements such as lifting, bending, reaching, climbing, and the manipulating and handling of objects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all personnel related functions for maintenance employees including, but not limited to, hiring, firing, and performance appraisals.
• Performs Preventative and/or project maintenance planning
• Supervision of all maintenance employees and shifts
• Oversee contractors
• Inventory management
• Research and manage projects
• Acts as an assistant to higher-level maintenance personnel on larger, more complex maintenance activities
• Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard and Operating Procedures
• Other duties as assigned
