Safety-Kleen Systems, a Clean Harbors company, in Metairie, LA, seeks a Facility Maintenance Manager II to oversee the maintenance department and ensure safety-first operations on site. The role requires leading electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical functions while maintaining compliance with SOPs.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in relevant trades, 2+ years of supervision, and strong MS Office skills, with an engineering background preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong MS Office computer skills.
• Ability to communicate with all levels from production to management.
• Background in Engineering is preferred.
• 4+ years of specific trade or plant-related experience.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Experience in blending and packaging industry preferred.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting PLC motion control software and hardware including servo drives.
• Experience working with HMIs and programmable controllers.
• Background in project management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance functions including Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Mechanical.
• Ensure health and safety is the priority and that SOPs are followed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot plant electrical equipment and software platforms.
• Manage inventory for spare and critical parts.
• Work with various software control platforms to support packaging lines.
• Coordinate with teams to meet compliance standards.
• Review SOPs and enforce standards.
