Qualifications

• 7+ years in industrial/manufacturing maintenance environments.
• 3+ years in leadership or supervisory roles within maintenance operations.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Strong background in electrical systems, motors, drives, and PLCs.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
• Experience with CMMS platforms and maintenance planning systems.
• Experience in manufacturing, plastics, packaging, processing, or heavy industrial environments preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Root Cause Analysis methodologies preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days or nights as needed to support plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment and facility systems operate efficiently with minimal downtime
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Drive reliability initiatives to improve equipment performance and operational efficiency
• Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and shutdown maintenance activities
• Prioritize maintenance work orders based on safety, operational impact, and urgency
• Partner with operations leadership to align maintenance schedules with production goals
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) efforts for equipment failures and recurring issues
• Oversee timely resolution of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation problems
• Support troubleshooting of motors, drives, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems
• Supervise and develop maintenance technicians and support personnel
• Manage maintenance budgets, vendor relationships, and contractor activities
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, safety, and operational performance
• Track and improve key maintenance KPIs including downtime, MTBF, MTTR, and OEE

Key Responsibilities:

Asset Reliability & Equipment Uptime

• Ensure equipment and facility systems operate efficiently with minimal downtime
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Drive reliability initiatives to improve equipment performance and operational efficiency

Maintenance Planning & Scheduling

• Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and shutdown maintenance activities

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days or nights as needed to support plant operations
• Combination of office and manufacturing plant environment
• Regular walking and activity throughout the production facility
• Ability to kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, balance, and work around industrial equipment as needed
• Frequent use of computer systems, radios, and communication tools
• Salary range: $90,000 – $110,000 annually
