Job summary

Confidential Jobs in Texas seeks an experienced Facility Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our Kilgore-area plant. You will drive equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and guide maintenance initiatives that support safe, efficient production.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on maintenance expertise, leadership experience, and a track record in preventive and predictive maintenance, RCA, and continuous improvement within manufacturing.

Qualifications

7+ years in industrial/manufacturing maintenance environments.
3+ years in leadership or supervisory roles within maintenance operations.
Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Strong background in electrical systems, motors, drives, and PLCs.
Knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
Experience with CMMS platforms and maintenance planning systems.
Experience in manufacturing, plastics, packaging, processing, or heavy industrial environments preferred.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Root Cause Analysis methodologies preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including days or nights as needed to support plant operations.

Responsibilities

Ensure equipment and facility systems operate efficiently with minimal downtime
Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Drive reliability initiatives to improve equipment performance and operational efficiency
Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and shutdown maintenance activities
Prioritize maintenance work orders based on safety, operational impact, and urgency
Partner with operations leadership to align maintenance schedules with production goals
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) efforts for equipment failures and recurring issues
Oversee timely resolution of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation problems
Support troubleshooting of motors, drives, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems
Supervise and develop maintenance technicians and support personnel
Manage maintenance budgets, vendor relationships, and contractor activities
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, safety, and operational performance
Track and improve key maintenance KPIs including downtime, MTBF, MTTR, and OEE
