Job summary

The Facilities & Grounds Technician at Goodwill Legacy Group manages and repairs equipment, buildings, and grounds across all Indianapolis locations. The role requires performing routine maintenance, using CMMS to update work orders, and coordinating with management and contractors to ensure safety and quality.

You'll travel to off-site sites, perform carpentry, plumbing, minor electrical and other tasks, and uphold strong safety practices while supporting customer relations and efficient

Qualifications

• No degree required; capable and willing to learn and contribute.
• Carpentry skills including measuring, drywall finishing, hardware installation.
• Familiarity with CMMS for work orders and PM checklists is a plus.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and safety procedures.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations and perform on-site maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and performs routine maintenance of facilities and grounds.
• Travels to off-site locations to provide grounds services and minor repairs.
• Disassembles / reassembles equipment and performs preventive maintenance.
• Updates work orders in CMMS and communicates with management and contractors.
• Maintains safety, quality, and customer relations throughout tasks.
• Cross-trains to support other department areas as needed.
