Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer in Texas to inspect, maintain, and repair building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers, and pool systems to ensure safe, compliant operations.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain detailed CMMS records, supporting a clean, safe, and fully functional facility that enhances member and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to lift 20+ lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.
• 3-4 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boiler, and pool systems
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation of building systems
• Monitor and maintain water chemistry, filtration, and temperature controls for recreational pools
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including fire and life safety systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform emergency repairs as needed
• Maintain detailed records of work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities within a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Support overall facility appearance and functionality to enhance member and guest experience
