Job summary

Life Time seeks a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to inspect, maintain, and repair building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers, and pool systems. You will ensure a safe, compliant, and fully operational facility through preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years in facilities or building engineering with strong mechanical expertise and relevant licenses.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to lift 20+ lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.
• Licenses / Certifications: Boiler Operator Stationary Engineer; EPA CFC; CPO or AFO

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boiler, and pool systems
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation of building systems
• Monitor and maintain water chemistry, filtration, and temperature controls for recreational pools
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including fire and life safety systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform emergency repairs as needed
• Maintain detailed records of work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities within a CMMS
• Support overall facility appearance and functionality to enhance member and guest experience
