Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Maintenance Staff Member in Highland Beach, FL to ensure that all mechanical systems and equipment are operational and that common areas are clean, disinfected, and aesthetically maintained.

Responsibilities include routine floor walks, safety compliance, coordinating with building staff, painting, completing daily work orders, and performing minor repairs across carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and flooring, while maintaining safety at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years general building trades or maintenance experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Routinely walks floors and reports issues to supervisors.
• Follows safety precautions while performing work.
• Maintains good working relationships with building staff.
• Paints common areas and performs touch-ups as needed.
• Completes daily work orders as scheduled.
• Maintains assigned equipment in good working condition.
• Performs minor repairs across carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting and flooring.
