Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Union Helper to perform non-technical building maintenance, light custodial tasks, and minor repairs in a facilities setting. You will support the Engineering and Technical Services function, performing preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Certificate of Fitness preferred (F-01, S-12, S-13, A-35, P-98, S-95).

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor including loading and unloading materials.
• Use carpentry skills to construct, repair, and maintain structures and furniture.
• Maintain lighting systems and replace bulbs.
• Patrol grounds and report hazards.
• Run errands to support projects and maintenance tasks.
• Execute housekeeping to maintain professional appearance.
• Paint and perform drywall/woodwork repairs.
• Set up and dismantle office fixtures and conference room equipment.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and call for assistance as needed.
• Prepare meetings and conference rooms with proper setup.
• Set up audio/visual equipment in conference rooms.
