Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Union Helper to perform non-technical building maintenance, light custodial tasks, and minor repairs within a CBRE facility. The role supports preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems as part of Engineering and Technical Services.

The position emphasizes general labor, lighting maintenance, grounds upkeep, and housekeeping to maintain a professional property appearance. Strong communication and MS Office proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• May require a valid driver’s license.
• Physical requirements include lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, and moving materials.
• Maintain lighting systems and replace bulbs; perform custodial duties as needed.
• Patrol grounds and report maintenance hazards; support project errands.
• Prepare meeting spaces and assist with office moves and setup as requested.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with others as needed.
