Job summary

Sam's Club is seeking a Maintenance Associate in Houston, TX to help keep our parking lot, restrooms, and floors clean, ensuring a welcoming first and last impression for members. The job requires standing and moving on the job site and adapting to changing conditions.

You will work safely, operate floor scrubbers, respond to spills, and manage supplies while supporting environmental and safety programs. Walmart benefits include health coverage, a 401(k), and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Cleans all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Ensures a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash per Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintains appropriate levels of chemicals and supplies, rotates stock, and places orders when low.
