Job summary

Sam's Club in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Maintenance Associate to keep parking lots, restrooms, and floors clean, ensuring a welcoming first and last impression for members.

You will be on your feet throughout shifts, perform safety duties, operate floor scrubbers, and help maintain a safe, clean environment with a positive attitude. Eligible for Walmart benefits and premium pay where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Cleans all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following company procedures and using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash per the Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintains appropriate levels of chemicals and supplies, rotates and stores them properly, and places orders to replenish stock as needed.
