Job summary

Sam’s Club in Plano, TX is seeking a Maintenance Associate to help keep the parking lot, restrooms, and floors clean, ensuring a positive first and last impression for members. You will be on your feet in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment while adhering to safety procedures.

Responsibilities include safety sweeps, cleaning all areas of the facility, handling approved chemicals, and supporting the Environmental Sustainability Program.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Able to work in fast-paced environments
• Willing to work in physically demanding environments
• Maintain a positive attitude and focus on member satisfaction

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines
• Cleans all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals and equipment
• Ensures a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance and responding to spills
• Maintains appropriate levels of chemicals and supplies, rotates and stores them properly, and places orders when low
• Live Better U program supports education for associates and eligible dependents
