Job summary

Sam’s Club in New Jersey is seeking a Maintenance Associate to help keep the parking lot, restrooms, and floors clean, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for members.

You will be on your feet throughout shifts, perform safety checks, operate floor scrubbers, and respond to spills while following company procedures and the Walmart environmental program.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• You must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Willingness to follow safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety and cleanliness of facility by following safety standards, procedures and guidelines.
• Cleans all areas of the facility (floors, restrooms, windows, trash receptacles) per procedures and using approved supplies.
• Ensures a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of waste per program.
• Maintains appropriate levels of chemicals and supplies, rotates and stores them properly, and places orders when low.
