Job summary

Sam's Club is looking for a Maintenance Associate to keep the parking lot, restrooms, and floors clean, ensuring a positive first and last impression for members. The role requires being on your feet, moving constantly, and maintaining a positive attitude to deliver great customer experiences.

You will perform safety sweeps, operate floor scrubbers, handle hazardous materials properly, and follow environmental programs while providing excellent service to members and associates.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to perform physically demanding duties.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility safety and cleanliness by following safety standards, procedures and guidelines.
• Clean all areas of the facility including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles using approved methods and equipment.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates; respond to spills and operate floor scrubbers.
• Maintain appropriate levels of chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders when stock is low.
