Job summary

Bend Park and Recreation District is seeking a Facility Lead to help operate site-specific activities and rentals with some independence. You will supervise facility safety, maintain records, and coordinate with management for direction.

The role emphasizes leadership, planning, and strong customer service. The position requires ability to work varied shifts, including weekdays and weekends, with on-call supervision support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college courses in related field preferred; AND
• One (1) year of experience with recreation facility supervisor or organized sports and game management; OR
• Any satisfactory combination of education, experience and training.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise building activities and safety of patrons.
• Maintain facility security; report vandalism and theft.
• Maintain all required records and forms.
• Respond to accidents or incidents according to procedures; notify supervisor and emergency services if necessary.
• Set up and break down equipment and facilities.
• Operate small tools and electronic equipment.
• Communicate with staff and patrons about schedule changes and information.
• Act as a Mandatory Reporter; report incidents of child abuse/neglect.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
