Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking a Facility Floater to support warehouse operations in Greenville, SC. This full-time, hourly role reports to the Facility Team Lead and covers various tasks in the department to keep daily workflows smooth.

You will sort pallets, assist with inbound and outbound shipments, maintain clean spaces, and help meet live trailer deadlines. The position requires on-site work, good stamina, and the ability to follow written directions.

Qualifications

• On-site work required (Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm).
• Able to lift 25 lb alone, 50 lb with team.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Follow written directions and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Clear/gather, inventory, and sort pallets.
• Clean warehouse and office spaces.
• Empty garbage and manage dumpster per vendor criteria.
• Collect and bale cardboard.
• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly.

Job description

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Facility Floater assists with every job within the department to ensure smooth operations. This position reports to the Facility Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clear/gather, inventory, and sort pallets
• Clean warehouse and office spaces using a mop, broom, and vacuum
• Empty garbage and fill the dumpster according to vendor criteria
• Collect and bale cardboard
• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly, avoiding retention fees
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
