Job summary

MAC.BID in Schertz, TX, is seeking a Removal Floater to support customer pickups and our fast-paced online auction operation. This full-time, hourly, non-exempt position reports to the Removal Team Lead and requires onsite presence.

You will greet customers, help them locate items, scan pickups, and ensure a positive experience so bidders return. The role demands organization, accuracy, and the ability to follow written directions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with team lift.
• Must be available to work onsite Monday – Friday; specific hours provided by GM.
• Must follow written directions and company policies.
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Must be customer-focused.

Responsibilities

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns, and overstock products then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Floater assists in all the stages of customer pick-up. The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves
• Greet and assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be available to work onsite Monday – Friday; MWF 10-6:30p and T/Th 11:45a-8:15p for 8 hours with a half-hour lunch break, hours to be determined by workload and General Manager
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail-oriented
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be customer-focused
