Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis Critical Care Medicine Fellowship is seeking an experienced RN to join the Mercy South Float Pool on a part-time basis (24 hours per week).

You will provide high‑quality patient care across multiple units while maintaining standards and collaboration with the care team. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of bedside RN experience, a BSN preferred, current Missouri RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–2 years of bedside RN experience.
• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred).
• License: Current RN license in the state.
• Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association.
• Physical requirements: Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis; prolonged standing and walking each shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality; coordinate care with other departments.
• Adhere to Mercy Health System goals and Mercy Service Standards.

Education

Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred)

Flexible Scheduling Options

• 12-hour shifts: 7 AM – 7 PM or 7 PM – 7 AM
• 8-hour evening shifts: 3 PM – 11 PM

Competitive Pay With Tiered Differentials

• Tier 3 (Med/Surg): +$5.00/hr
• Tier 2 (Stepdown): +$7.50/hr
• Tier 1 (ICU): +$10.00/hr

Additional Shift Differentials

• Evening: +$2.75/hr
• Night: +$4.60/hr
• Weekend: +$1.50/hr
