Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Wisconsin to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on complex facility systems. You will diagnose issues, install and service building infrastructure, and operate critical equipment within a 40-hour, full-time schedule.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial/trades maintenance, advanced computer skills, and the ability to read blueprints and Life Safety drawings. On-site work with weekend coverage is possible.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school that includes the completion of technical training.
• 4 or more Years of Experience in relatable industrial/trades maintenance or operations.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills required.
• Advanced computer skills/competency in Building Automation Systems and Pneumatic Tube Systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and technical repairs on complex facility systems.
• Diagnoses and implements repairs for Utility and Infrastructure Systems.
• Installs/replace and maintains building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and controls systems.
• Operates and monitors advanced utility equipment (generators, plant chillers, steam boilers, fire protection systems, etc.) and utilizes building automation systems to troubleshoot issues.
• Maintains vacuum, compressed air, and medical gas systems
• Reads blueprints, Life Safety drawings and manuals for accurate task completion.
