Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician in Wisconsin to perform facility and equipment maintenance in a healthcare setting. You will document work in CMMS, respond to emergencies, and conduct preventive maintenance across diverse systems.

The role requires 2–4 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Second shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM) with on-call rotation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of experience in equipment maintenance.
• Driver's license required.
• Proficiency with CMMS and building systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs facility and equipment maintenance in accordance with codes and standards.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, conveyors, doors, fans, boilers, etc.).
• Maintain patient care equipment (beds, wheelchairs, carts, tables).
• Maintain mechanical/electrical systems (HVAC, refrigerators, piping, electrical, plumbing).
• Respond to emergencies (leaks, floods, power outages, equipment failures).
• Conduct preventive maintenance and safety checks; read blueprints/manuals.
