Job summary

JST-Corporation- operates a dedicated HPEC facility where a Facilities Carpenter / Maintenance Technician performs carpentry, builds and repairs cabinetry, and maintains the structural integrity of the environment.

The role emphasizes reading blueprints, using power tools and maintaining a clean, safe shop while ensuring compliance with OSHA and local codes. Strong carpentry skills and 3–5 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; formal carpentry training preferred.
• 3–5 years of professional carpentry or commercial facility maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, architectural drawings and facility layouts.
• Proficient operation of power tools, hand tools and shop equipment; able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Construct, repair and install building frameworks, structures, fixtures and cabinetry.
• Perform preventative maintenance on specialized facility assets and environmental systems.
• Inspect for safety, perform cosmetic updates and coordinate materials for projects.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and support emergencies or large-scale repairs.
