Job summary

Engineered-Medical-Systems,-LL is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform routine building maintenance across carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and related tasks. You will inspect facilities, coordinate with vendors, maintain lighting, and oversee contractor work while keeping maintenance logs and ensuring safety procedures.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and 5+ years of related experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office; CMMS

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 5+ years of related experience.
• Drywall repair and painting experience.
• Electrical, HVAC or Plumbing experience.
• Experience with CMMS software preferred.
• Strong work ethic, ownership and positive attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• English language: speak/read/write.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair buildings, grounds, and structures including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC as required.
• Perform routine daily inspections of assigned buildings and spaces.
• Identify discrepancies, generate work requests, coordinate vendors as needed.
• Move equipment and perform shop tasks.
• Complete daily work tickets.
• Maintain building lighting systems, including bulb and ballast repair or replacement.
• Oversee and inspect work performed by outside contractors.
• Maintain detailed records, operating logs, and files including preventive maintenance logs.
• Maintain grounds, irrigation, and water features as needed.
• Assist with moves and event setups as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and follow safety procedures.
• Support EMS Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
