Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a dedicated janitorial professional to maintain assigned facilities in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition. Responsibilities include high dusting, sanitizing, bathroom cleaning, trash removal, floor care, and grounds maintenance as part of daily routines.

Must follow safety practices, handle cleaning chemicals properly, and ensure common areas and food court spaces remain presentable and inviting for guests and staff.

Qualifications

Basic operations of janitorial work.
Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
Basic safe work practices.
The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).

Responsibilities

High dusting of surfaces above shoulder height using a treated high duster.
Sanitizing surfaces below shoulder height with germicidal solution.
Bathroom cleaning in specified sequence and sanitation checks.
Empty trash cans; replace liners as needed.
Floor dusting or vacuuming with proper technique.
Grounds care and exterior area cleaning and trash removal.
Clean public common areas and food court surfaces and tables.
Floor sanitizing and ensuring cleanliness of all traffic areas.
Perform room inspections and adjust as needed to prevent issues.
Provide courteous customer relations and report issues to supervisor.
