Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented janitorial worker to perform cleaning tasks across assigned facilities. Responsibilities include high dusting, sanitizing, bathroom cleaning, trash removal and floor care to maintain a clean, sanitary environment.

You will also help in outdoor areas and public spaces, ensuring smooth operations and good presentation. The role requires adherence to safety practices, ability to follow instructions, and reliable teamwork to support facility

Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).

Responsibilities

• High dusting surfaces above shoulder level and edges.
• Sanitizing surfaces below shoulder height and wiping fingerprint-prone areas.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and dispensers daily.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Dust mop and vacuum to remove dust in rooms and corridors.
• Maintain outdoor common areas including trash and sidewalks.
