Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented janitorial associate to perform a variety of cleaning activities in assigned buildings, keeping spaces sanitary, orderly and welcoming.

Responsibilities include high dusting, sanitizing, bathroom cleaning, trash removal and floor care. You will inspect rooms after cleaning, report issues to supervision, and work with the team to ensure safe, pleasant public areas such as lobbies, food courts and common spaces are spotless for staff and

Competenze

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).

Mansioni

• High dusting surfaces above shoulder height using a treated duster.
• Sanitizing surfaces below shoulder height with germicidal solution.
• Bathroom cleaning: sink, toilet, dispensers and floors.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed.
• Floor dusting or vacuuming using mophead and dust mop.
• Grounds care: clean ash urns, pick up litter outside.
• Public common areas: dust mop, spot mop, glass cleaning.
• Food court: clean, sanitize, empty trash and wash trays.
