RHA Health Services seeks a Facility Based Crisis Specialist for the Lenoir FBC. The role involves direct patient care for individuals with psychiatric disorders in a facility-based crisis center, focusing on safety and therapeutic environment.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 2 years health care experience at the health care assistant level or equivalent in mental health, with knowledge of addiction and recovery programs. Training opportunities available.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years’ health care experience at the level of health care assistant, or an associate of arts in mental health, or equivalent training/experience.
• Experience must be in the field of mental health.
• 2 years’ experience in a health care setting, some knowledge of addiction and recovery programs.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with psychiatric disorders in the facility-based crisis center; ensure safety and well-being of each patient.
• Consistently follows the plan of care designed to meet emotional needs, including safety level checks.
• Actively participates in the quality improvement process.
• Verbalizes and demonstrates proper infection control procedures; responds to codes and manages aggressive patients per protocols.
