RHA Health Services, LLC seeks a Mental Health or Substance Abuse Tech to provide direct patient care in a facility based crisis center in North Carolina. You will help ensure patient safety and maintain a therapeutic environment while supporting the care team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and relevant health care experience, including knowledge of mental health and addiction recovery programs. CPR training and code response skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of health care work at the health care assistant level or an AA in mental health, or equivalent training/experience.
• Experience must be in the mental health field.
• Life experience may substitute for work experience at supervisor's discretion.
• Two years of health care setting experience with some knowledge of addiction and recovery programs.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with psychiatric disorders in the facility based crisis center.
• Ensure safety and well being of each patient and support the therapeutic environment.
• Follow the plan of care to meet emotional needs and safety checks.
• Participate in quality improvement processes and infection-control procedures.
• Respond promptly to codes and manage aggressive patients per approved protocols.
