Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Facility Based Crisis Specialist for our Lenoir FBC on-site in Lenoir, NC. The role provides direct patient care to individuals with psychiatric conditions in a facility based crisis setting, ensuring safety and maintaining a therapeutic environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, with 2 years of healthcare experience at the health care assistant level or an AA in mental health, plus experience in healthcare and addiction recovery

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• 2 years’ experience working at the level of health care assistant or an associate of arts in mental health.
• 2 years’ experience in a health care setting, some knowledge of addiction and recovery programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with psychiatric disorders in the facility based crisis center.
• Ensure the safety and well being of each patient; support the maintenance of the therapeutic environment.
• Follow the plan of care; participate in quality improvement; demonstrate proper infection control procedures.
