Job summary

United Nations Foundation in Washington, DC, is seeking a Manager, Workplace Environment & Experience, to oversee daily operations, facilities, and vendor relationships on a hybrid schedule. You will ensure safety, compliance, and efficient use of office resources in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, health and safety, plus 5–7 years in office management, with nonprofit/facilities experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or 5-7 years in office management
• Experience in nonprofit and facilities-focused operations preferred
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and policies

Responsibilities

• Manage facilities and office services with oversight from Senior Director
• Conduct employee safety training and update policies as needed
• Coordinate risk management, incident reporting, and OSHA compliance
• Oversee vendor payments, contracts, and reconciliations
• Prepare regular compliance and efficiency reports for leadership
• Coordinate office moves, space planning, and setup for new staff
