Job summary

Baxter is seeking a facilities maintenance specialist to operate and maintain building systems and equipment across Drug Delivery and Penicillin facilities. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance and address issues to support reliable manufacturing operations.

You will work with a team to ensure safety, quality, and compliance, while using CMMS for work orders and following GMP/GDP guidelines. Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform hands-on repairs.
• Familiarity with CMMS/work-order systems is a plus.
• Experience in FDA-regulated manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and utility systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, and schematics for troubleshooting.
• Maintain boiler and related equipment and chemical treatment programs.
• Follow GMP and GDP procedures to support reliable manufacturing operations.
