Job summary

Arkansas Early Learning Inc. is seeking a Facilities and Transportation Assistant to support maintenance, repairs, and safe operation of agency buildings and vehicles under the supervision of the Facilities and Transportation Manager.

Required is a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of clerical/administrative experience with emphasis on record keeping and contact with the public; knowledge of basic facility tasks is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of related clerical/administrative experience.
• Strong emphasis in record keeping, spreadsheets and public contact.
• Preference for knowledge of facility/vehicle maintenance.
• Hands-on carpentry, painting, masonry, plumbing, roofing or electrical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair agency buildings, facilities and vehicles.
• Monitor and evaluate the work of facilities assistants and contractors for compliance with standards.
