Job summary

Arkansas Early Learning Inc. (AEL) is hiring a Facilities Assistant to support maintenance of agency buildings, facilities and vehicles under the supervision of the Facilities and Transportation Manager.

The role works with other staff and contractors to ensure standards and compliance. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in maintenance or facility services, and a valid driver’s license with insured vehicle.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• At least one year of maintenance or facilities experience.
• Experience in vehicle maintenance and transportation equipment preferred.
• Construction skills such as carpentry, painting, masonry, plumbing or roofing.
• Some related office experience with record keeping and spreadsheets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance and repairs for all Agency buildings, facilities and vehicles.
• Monitor and coordinate with other Facilities Assistants and contractors to meet standards.
• Ensure compliance with transportation, maintenance and facilities regulations.
