Job summary

Arkansas Early Learning, Inc. is hiring a Facilities and Transportation Assistant in Arkansas to support maintenance and repairs for all agency buildings and vehicles. Under supervision, you will monitor work of facilities staff and contractors, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related clerical/administrative experience. Familiarity with carpentry, painting, masonry, plumbing, roofing and electrical work is

Qualifications

Minimum of High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
Minimum of one year of related clerical/administrative experience, with strong emphasis in record keeping, spreadsheets, tracking and contact with the public preferred.
General knowledge of facility and vehicle maintenance preferred.
Minimal hands on experience with carpentry, painting, masonry, plumbing, roofing and electrical preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in maintenance and repairs for all agency buildings, facilities, and agency vehicles.
Monitor and evaluate the work of facilities assistants and contractors, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
