Job summary

Arkansas Early Learning, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Assistant to support maintenance and repairs across multiple centers in Arkansas.

Under the supervision of the Facilities and Transportation Manager, you will assist with daily upkeep, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance for buildings and vehicles. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and may have at least one year of maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Prefer at least one year of experience in maintenance or facility services in a setting such as school, daycare, restaurant, hospital.
• Prefer at least one year experience in vehicle maintenance, parts/supplies and other transportation related equipment.
• Construction skills such as carpentry, painting, masonry, plumbing and roofing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance and repairs for all agency buildings, facilities and vehicles.
• Coordinate with Facilities Manager and contractors to ensure compliance with transportation, maintenance and facilities standards.
• Monitor and support safety and regulatory compliance related to facilities.
