Job summary

The Scion Group seeks a Facilities Technician at our Fayetteville property to maintain and repair building systems, respond to service requests, and prepare apartments for turnovers. You will execute preventive maintenance and ensure safety and reliability of all equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO), or intention to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Safety procedures knowledge; punctuality and dependability essential.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to access computer systems and basic software.
• Willingness to travel when needed.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property according to SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Perform physically demanding work to maintain assets and minimize liability.
• Execute maintenance objectives and daily assignments with the Facilities team.
• Perform minor and routine maintenance/repair promptly and professionally.
• Assist in ensuring all service requests are completed.
• Document work and materials used; submit daily with notes and signatures.
• Promote positive relations with residents, staff, and contractors.
• Carry out basic appliance repair, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and basic electrical tasks to prepare apartments on time.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Clean coils, lubricate equipment, maintain air filters, and perform minor repairs.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
