Job summary

The University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE seeks a Senior Facilities Technician to lead crews in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, work orders and minor renovations across HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, lighting and electrical systems. Position Summary

Facilities Technician, Senior will successfully lead crews and complete Preventive Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Work Orders and Minor Renovations and to include the following trades: HVAC , Refrigeration, Plumbing, Temperature controls, Lighting and Electrical. 4) Ability to guide others in regard to necessary steps taken to troubleshoot, repair and install a variety of equipment and systems.
5) Knowledge and application of a variety of city, state, and federal regulations.
6) Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and problems.
7) Capable of mentoring crew members and providing guidance throughout the completion of projects.
8) Ability to share insight, expertise, and instruct others on complex tasks.
