Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience in general shop and/or building maintenance
• Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, commercial cooking equipment, and basic HVAC/refrigeration
• Knowledge of industry compliance and safety awareness
• Ability to plan and schedule
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Ability to adapt
• Ability to problem-solve
• Ability to think critically
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair cooking and prep equipment (oven, grill, fryer, ice machine, Frosty machine) as needed
• Provide interior and exterior maintenance services (electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, floor tile repair, acoustic ceiling repair)
• Follow Preventative Maintenance schedules
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal customers, suppliers and service providers; order/return parts
• Review and complete work orders and projects within established timeframes
• Provide comprehensive facilities visit summaries and next steps
• Communicate technical information clearly
• Operate company fleet van and maintain parts inventory
• Keep tools in good condition
• Meet department and company goals
• Analyze facilities issues to reduce downtime
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and plan next steps
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate urgency
• Attend meetings and work hours including on-call, holidays, weekends
• Other duties as assigned
