Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of training or experience in maintenance or a related field.
• A current and valid driver’s license.
• Vocational-school education and professional certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete maintenance and repair projects.
• Handle hands-on work such as painting, wall patching, hardware installation, furniture and shelving assembly, minor plumbing repairs, and general facility upkeep.
• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, boiler, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems; escalate when specialized expertise is needed.
• Keep tools, equipment, materials, and supplies organized and ready to go.
• Support renovations, relocations, space modifications, and new facility projects.
• Work with contractors and help monitor the quality and progress of facility projects.
• Respond to urgent maintenance needs.
• Keep leadership informed about facility conditions, repairs, safety concerns, and vendor work.
